This 12 week Half Marathon Training Program is for new and experienced distance runners. Designed to teach you to safely increase distance to comfortably run 13.1 miles and to continue regular, injury free running. Each participant receives a comprehensive, training schedule with 4-5 days of running per week. The group trains together on:
Tuesdays Evenings @ 5:30pm- 6:30pm
Saturdays Mornings @ 6:00am
All participants must be able to run/walk a 10k at a pace of 12 minutes per mile.
Must have weekly mileage of 15 miles per week for the previous 6 weeks.
Have a pair of properly fit running shoes and technical fabric socks prior to starting training
Coached session twice a week (Tuesdays & Saturdays)

Meet Lari, our training program director. Lari has been running since high school, where she was a hurdler, and has been
distance running for the past 16 years. Lari has been a coach at Running Wild for the past 8 years and the Training Program
Director for the past 7 years. She helps coach all distances and is both RRCA and CPR certified. Lari's favorite local race is
the Fiesta 10K.
Meet Mona, one of the running coaches for this years Half Marathon! Mona has been in the running world for 14 years,
and coaching for 8. She coaches distances from 5K to marathon. Her favorite local race is the Double Bridge Run!
Meet Zoey Matthews, one of the coaches for this years Half Marathon. Zoey started running while conditioning for
soccer and has been running ever since for 23 years. Zoey has been a coach for over 5 years and coaches distances
from a 5K all the way up to a half marathon. Her favorite local race is the 4th of July 5K!
