The Frozen Feet Challenge is a January movement challenge designed to keep our community motivated, consistent, and outside during the coldest month of the year. The goal is simple: run or walk at least 1 mile outdoors every single day in January.
Anyone can participate in this challenge, from anywhere!
Whether youre training for a race, building a habit, or just looking for extra motivation, this challenge is about showing up daily and staying connected.
To successfully complete the Frozen Feet Challenge, participants must:
1. Run or walk at least 1 mile outside every day from January 1 through January 31
2. Complete the mile outdoors (treadmills do not count)
3. Check in daily on the Running Wild app after completing your mile
Consistency is key, every day counts!
Daily check-ins are required to earn points and track your progress.
1. Open the Running Wild app
2. Go to Events
3. Choose the current day of Frozen Feet
4. After completing your outdoor mile, tap Check In
Make sure you check in each day! Missed check-ins will not earn points.
Participants will earn5 points for every day they complete the mile and check in on the app
Points help keep you accountable and motivated throughout the month
The challenge is all about building momentum, encouraging consistency, and starting the year strong
