The Blackwater Trail Challenge is a two race event held each year in the Blackwater River State Forest, Florida’s largest State Forest. Located in the densely forested Panhandle of northwest Florida, the BWRSF is a prime location for trail running. With rolling hills, towering longleaf pines, beautiful hardwoods, & crystal clear rivers, this relatively untapped playground is waiting to be explored.
The two events consist of a Half Marathon at Krul Lake and a 50k at Bear Lake. The 50k also includes a Relay Event for those looking to test the trail run waters. Produced by Running Wild, this is the premier trail running series in Florida.

Blackwater Half Marathon is Saturday, April 20, 2013
