About the Program
Designed for the individual who would like to complete his or her first sprint triathlon. My First Tri is a 12 week program that will take you to the finish line. Participants will learn the basics of the three disciplines (swimming, biking and running), how to navigate transition area and overcome fear of open water swimming. Each participant will receive a comprehensive training schedule with specific weekly goals and regular one on one feedback with the coach.

Before starting the program participants should be able to swim 200 yards, run 2 miles (pace not important) and cycle a minimum of 5-8 miles (about 45 minutes) regardless of speed. Prior to the start of training participants should have: goggles, swim cap, swimsuit, bike, bike helmet and properly fit running shoes.
Training starts with the kick-off meeting March 11th & culminates with The Grandman Tri on June 1st.
